Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family!

“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, possibly one of the most famous lines emerging from Sanskrit literature. This phrase is another demonstration of the all-inclusive attitude that our Indian tradition has. Unity in diversity is something that we have been practicing for thousands of years, the underlying belief says the same, we have emerged from one, the Brahman, the ultimate reality.
Originally from Maha Upanishad, the “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” phrase is part of this Shlok.
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam

अयं निजः परो वेति गणना लघुचेतसाम्।
उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्॥

ayaṃ nijaḥ paro veti gaṇanā laghucetasām।
udāracaritānāṃ tu vasudhaiva kuṭumbakam॥
Hindi translation:
यह मेरा है, वह पराया है, ऐसे छोटें विचार के व्यक्ति करते हैं।
उच्च चरित्र वाले लोग समस्त संसार को ही परिवार मानते हैं॥

English translation:
This is mine, that is his, say the small minded,
The wise believe that the entire world is a family.

My only regret is Our health care system is NOT utilising our tech. Infact western countries utilise our resources due to the exchange rate difference and improve their health outcomes . When wil Indian wake up to utilise its own Treasure house of internal available resources .
