English Translation:
Pronouncing the
syllabus ग
(ga) in the beginning and other syllables thereafter, the sibilant is marked with half-moon
transcending, mature with stars. Thus is your form. The ग (ga) is the prior form, अ (a) is the
later
form, sibilant is the final form, the dot is the supreme form. The sound is the connecting link,
the
hymn is the connection. (this makes the "ॐ गँ" ) ‘Gakāra’ (ग्) is the first part. ‘Akāra’ (अ) is
the
middle part. And the Anusvāra (nasal sound) is the last part and the ‘bindu’ (dot) is the latter
form of pronunciation. These all joined together as the sound of the mantra (ॐ गँ). This,
verily, is
the wisdom of Gaṇeśa. Gaṇaka is the seer, Gāyatrī is the metre, Gaṇapati is the deity. Aum,

हम एकदन्त को जानते हैं;

We know the single-tusked one;
we meditate on the one with
a curved trunk. May he awaken us (to the ultimate truth).

वाले है जिसमे वह पाश, अंकुश, दन्त, वर मुद्रा रखते हैं। उनके ध्वज पर मूषक हैं। वे लाल रंग से तेजस्वी
हैं, लम्बोदर हैं, हैं लाल वस्त्र धारी हैं। रक्त चन्दन का लेप लगा है। वे लाल पुष्प धारण करते हैं।
भक्तो के लिये अनुकम्पा रखते हैं जगत में सभी जगह व्याप्त हैं। श्रृष्टि के रचियता हैं। वह प्रकृति और

English Translation:
(The visible form of
Gaṇapatī is as follows) his face has a single tusk; he has four hands; (and) with two hands, he is
holding noose (pāśa) and goad (aṅkuśa), with his third hand he is holding a tusk (rada), and with
fourth hand he is showing the gesture of boon-giving (varada-mudrā); his flag is having the emblem
of a rat (mūṣaka). His form is having a beautiful reddish glow, with a large belly (lambodara) and
with large ears like fans (śūrpakarṇa); he is wearing red garments. His Form is anointed with red
fragrant paste, and he is worshipped with red flowers. He is the one who is compassionate towards
his devotees, he has descended for the cause of the universe. He manifested at the beginning of the
universe. He is beyond the manifested nature of the manifested world. He who meditates on him in
this way everyday is the best Yogi among the Yogis.
