Original Source Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 2 Verse 50

बुद्धियुक्तो जहातीह उभे सुकृतदुष्कृते |
तस्माद्योगाय युज्यस्व योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्॥

Transliteration:
buddhiyukto jahātīha ubhe sukṛtaduṣkṛte।
tasmādyogāya yujyasva yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam॥

English translation:
Endowed with wisdom (evenness of mind), one casts off in this life both good and evil deeds;
therefore, devote thyself to Yoga; Yoga is skill in action.

Hindi Translation:
बुद्धि (समता) से युक्त मनुष्य यहाँ जीवित अवस्था में ही पुण्य और पाप दोनों का त्याग कर देता है।
अतः तू योग (समता) में लग जा, क्योंकि योग ही कर्मों में कुशलता है।
 


उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानम्।

uddharedātmanātmānam।

One must elevate oneself by one’s own self.

अपने द्वारा अपना उद्धार करें। 


Original Source Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 6 Verse 5

उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत्।
आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मनः॥

Transliteration:
uddharedātmanātmānaṃ nātmānamavasādayet।
ātmaiva hyātmano bandhurātmaiva ripurātmanaḥ॥

English translation:
One must elevate himself by his own self; one must not degrade oneself.
The mind is the friend of the individual, and his enemy as well.

Hindi Translation:
अपने द्वारा अपना उद्धार करें, अपना पतन न करें,
क्योंकि आप ही अपने मित्र हैं और आप ही अपने शत्रु हैं। 


नभःस्पृशं दीप्तम्।

nabhaḥspṛśaṃ dīptam।

Original Source Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 11 Verse 24

नभःस्पृशं दीप्तमनेकवर्णं 
व्यात्ताननं दीप्तविशालनेत्रम्।

धृतिं न विन्दामि शमं च विष्णो॥

Transliteration:
nabhaḥspṛśaṃ dīptamanekavarṇaṃ
vyāttānanaṃ dīptaviśālanetram।
dṛṣṭvā hi tvāṃ pravyathitāntarātmā
dhṛtiṃ na vindāmi śamaṃ ca viṣṇo॥

English translation:
O Vishnu, on seeing your cosmic form touching the sky, shining in many colours, with mouths wide open, with large fiery eyes, I am terrified at heart, and find neither courage nor peace.

Hindi Translation:
हे विष्णो! आपके अनेक दैदीप्यमान वर्ण हैं, आप आकाश को स्पर्श कर रहे हैं, आपका मुख फैला हुआ है, आपके नेत्र प्रदीप्त और विशाल हैं। ऐसे आपको देखकर भयभीत अन्तःकरण वाला मैं धैर्य और शान्ति को प्राप्त नहीं हो रहा हूँ।

हतो वा प्राप्स्यसि स्वर्गं जित्वा वा भोक्ष्यसे महीम्।
तस्मादुत्तिष्ठ कौन्तेय युद्धाय कृतनिश्चयः॥

Transliteration:
hato vā prāpsyasi svargaṃ jitvā vā bhokṣyase mahīm।
tasmāduttiṣṭha kaunteya yuddhāya kṛtaniścayaḥ॥

English translation:
If you are slain, you shall attain heaven, or if you conquer, you shall enjoy the earth.
Therefore, O Arjun, stand up with the resolution to fight the battle.

Hindi Translation:
या तो तू युद्ध में वीरगति को प्राप्त होकर स्वर्ग को प्राप्त करेगा, या जीतकर पृथ्वी का राज्य भोगेगा।
इसलिये हे अर्जुन, तू युद्ध के लिये निश्चय करके खड़ा हो जा।


 परस्परं भावयन्तः।

parasparaṃ bhāvayantaḥ।

Nourishing one another.

परस्पर उन्नति करनेवाले।

देवान्भावयतानेन ते देवा भावयन्तु वः।
परस्परं भावयन्तः श्रेयः परमवाप्स्यथ॥

Transliteration:
devānbhāvayatānena te devā bhāvayantu vaḥ।
parasparaṃ bhāvayantaḥ śreyaḥ paramavāpsyatha॥

English translation:
By this, please the Gods, and the Gods will support you.
Thus, nourishing one another, you will attain the highest good.

Hindi Translation:
तुम लोग इस यज्ञ द्वारा देवताओं की उन्नति करो, और वे देवतागण तुम्हारी उन्नति करें।
इस प्रकार परस्पर उन्नति करते हुये परम श्रेय को तुम प्राप्त होगे।


कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते।

karmaṇyevādhikāraste।

You only have the right to perform your actions.

कर्तव्य-कर्म करने में ही तेरा अधिकार है।

 

Original Source Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 2 Verse 47

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥

Transliteration:
karmaṇyevādhikāraste mā phaleṣu kadācana।
mā karmaphalaheturbhūrmā te saṅgo’stvakarmaṇi॥

English translation:
You only have the right to perform your actions; you are not entitled to the fruits of the actions.
Never be motivated by the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing the duty.

Hindi Translation:
कर्तव्य-कर्म करने में ही तेरा अधिकार है, फलों में कभी नहीं।
अतः तू कर्मफल का हेतु भी मत बन, और तेरी अकर्मण्यता में भी आसक्ति न हो।


 सत्येनापद्यतेऽमृतम्।

satyenāpadyate’mṛtam।

Immorality comes out of the truth.

सत्य से अमृतत्व उत्पन्न होता है।

अमृतं चैव मृत्युश्च द्वयं देहे प्रतिष्ठितम्।
मोहादापद्यते मृत्युः सत्येनापद्यतेऽमृतम्॥

Translitertion:
amṛtaṃ caiva mṛtyuśca dvayaṃ dehe pratiṣṭhitam।
mohādāpadyate mṛtyuḥ satyenāpadyate’mṛtam॥

English translation:
Immortality and death, both reside in the body only.
Death comes out of delusion, and immorality comes out of the truth.

Hindi Translation:
मृत्यु और अमृतत्व दोनों हमेशा देह में स्थित हैं |
मोह (अज्ञानता) से मृत्यु उत्पन्न होती है, और सत्य से अमृतत्व उत्पन्न होता है।


 मदायत्तं तु पौरुषम्।

madāyattaṃ tu pauruṣam।

My valor is in my hands.

मेरा पुरुषार्थ मेरे हाथ में है।

Original Source Veṇisaṃhāram – Act 3 Verse 37

सूतो वा सूतपुत्रो वा यो वा को वा भवाम्यहम्।
दैवायत्तं कुले जन्म मदायत्तं तु पौरुषम्॥

Transliteration:
sūto vā sūtaputro vā yo vā ko vā bhavāmyaham।
daivāyattaṃ kule janma madāyattaṃ tu pauruṣam॥

English translation:
I may be a charioteer, or the son of the charioteer, or anyone else, that does not matter,
because the family in which I am born is in the hands of destiny, but my valor is in my hands.

Hindi Translation:
मैं सूत हूँ, सूतपुत्र हूँ, या जो भी कोई हूँ, (उससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता); क्योंकि,
मैं कौन से कुल में जन्म लूँ ये तो दैव के हाथ में है, लेकिन मेरा पुरुषार्थ तो मेरे हाथ में है।


 धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः।

dharmo rakṣati rakṣitaḥ।

Dharma which is protected, protects.

रक्षित किया हुआ धर्म रक्षा करता है।

Original Source Manusmṛti – Chapter 8 Verse 15

धर्म एव हतो हन्ति धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः।
तस्माद्धर्मो न हन्तव्यो मा नो धर्मो हतोऽवधीत्॥

dharma eva hato hanti dharmo rakṣati rakṣitaḥ।
tasmāddharmo na hantavyo mā no dharmo hato’vadhīt॥

English translation:
The Dharma, which is destroyed, destroys; and Dharma which is protected, protects.
Hence, Dharma should not be destroyed, so it does not destroy us.

Hindi Translation:
जिसका नाश हुआ है, ऐसा धर्म विनाशकारी होता है; और रक्षित किया हुआ धर्म रक्षा करता है।
अतः धर्म का विनाश नहीं करना चाहिए, और ऐसा धर्म हमारा विनाश न करे।


स्वयमेव मृगेन्द्रता।

svayameva mṛgendratā।

The lion is king by his own self.

English translation:
There is no coronation nor any ritual for the lion,
yet he becomes the king of the jungle by his own attributes and heroism.

Hindi Translation:
वन में सिंह का कोई अभिषेक या संस्कार नहीं किया जाता।
अपने पराक्रम से वह खुद ही मृगेन्द्रपद प्राप्त कर लेता है।


सा विद्या या विमुक्तये।

sā vidyā yā vimuktaye।

That which liberates is knowledge.

विद्या वह है जो मुक्ति का कारण बने।

तत्कर्म यन्न बन्धाय सा विद्या या विमुक्तये।
आयासायापरं कर्म विद्यान्या शिल्पनैपुणम्॥

tatkarma yanna bandhāya sā vidyā yā vimuktaye।
āyāsāyāparaṃ karma vidyānyā śilpanaipuṇam॥

English translation:
That which does not bind is action; that which liberates is knowledge.
All other acts are merely a cause of fatigue, and all other learning is mere exhibition skill in arts.

Hindi Translation:
कर्म वह है जो बन्धन का कारण न हो; विद्या वह है जो मुक्ति का कारण बने।
अन्य कर्म केवल श्रम मात्र है, और अन्य विद्याएँ केवल यांत्रिक निपुणता है।


 सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः।

sarve santu nirāmayāḥ।

May all be healthy.

सभी निरोगी हों।


 Original Source Garuḍapurāṇa – Chapter 35 Verse 51

सर्वेऽत्र सुखिनः सन्तु सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः।
सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु मा कश्चिद्दुःखभाग्भवेत्॥

sarve’tra sukhinaḥ santu sarve santu nirāmayāḥ।
sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu mā kaścid duḥkhabhāg bhavet॥

English translation:
May all be happy; may all be healthy; may all see good;
may none partake suffering.

Hindi Translation:
यहाँ (पृथ्वी पर) सभी लोग सुखी हों, सभी निरोगी हों, सभी मंगलमय (होता) देखें।
यहाँ किसी को भी दुःख की प्राप्ति न हो।


 एकान्ते सुखमास्यताम्।

ekānte sukhamāsyatām।

Live happily in solitude.

एकांत में सुख का सेवन करें।


 Original Source Sādhanāpañcakam – Verse 5

एकान्ते सुखमास्यतां परतरे चेतः समाधीयतां
पूर्णात्मा सुसमीक्ष्यतां जगदिदं तद्बाधितं दृश्यताम्‌।
प्राक्कर्म प्रविलाप्यतां चितिबलान्नाप्युत्तरैः श्लिष्यतां
प्रारब्धं त्विह भुज्यतामथ परब्रह्मात्मना स्थीयताम्‌॥

ekānte sukhamāsyatāṃ paratare cetaḥ samādhīyatāṃ
pūrṇātmā susamīkṣyatāṃ jagadidaṃ tadbādhitaṃ dṛśyatām‌।
prākkarma pravilāpyatāṃ citibalānnāpyuttaraiḥ śliṣyatāṃ
prārabdhaṃ tviha bhujyatāmatha parabrahmātmanā sthīyatām‌॥

English translation:
Live happily in solitude and focus the mind on God. See carefully the infinite Self and notice how it eliminates this fleeting existence called the world. Through the power of consciousness, dissolve your past karma, remain unaffected by your later karma, and experience your present karma. In this way, remain established in the awareness of the Supreme Self.

Hindi Translation:
एकान्त के सुख का सेवन करें, परब्रह्म में चित्त को लगायें, परब्रह्म की खोज करें, इस विश्व को उससे व्याप्त देखें, पूर्व कर्मों का नाश करें, मानसिक बल से भविष्य में आने वाले कर्मों का आलिंगन करें, प्रारब्ध का यहाँ ही भोग करके परब्रह्म में स्थित हो जाएँ।


 वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्।

vasudhaiva kuṭumbakam।

The whole earth is a family.

पूरी धरती एक परिवार है।

अयं निजः परो वेति गणना लघुचेतसाम्।
उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्‌॥

ayaṃ nijaḥ paro veti gaṇanā laghucetasām।

English translation:
This is mine or someone else’s, such is the consideration of the low-minded,
but for generous people, the whole earth is like a family.

Hindi Translation:
यह मेरा है, यह दूसरों का है, ऐसी सोच छोटे विचार वालों की होती है।
पर उदार लोगों के लिए पूरी धरती ही एक परिवार की तरह होती है।

 नास्ति मातृसमा प्रिया।

nāsti mātṛsamā priyā।

There is no one dear like Mother.

माँ जैसा कोई प्रिय नहीं।


 नास्ति मातृसमा छाया नास्ति मातृसमा गतिः।
नास्ति मातृसमं त्राणं नास्ति मातृसमा प्रिया॥

Transliteration:
buddhiyukto jahātīha ubhe sukṛtaduṣkṛte।
tasmādyogāya yujyasva yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam॥

English translation:
There is no shadow like Mother. There is no destiny like Mother. There is no protection like Mother.
There is no one dear like Mother.

Hindi Translation:
माँ जैसी छाया नहीं। माँ जैसी गति नहीं। माँ जैसी कोई रक्षा नहीं।
माता जैसा कोई प्रिय नहीं।


 लोकाः समस्ताः सुखिनो भवन्तु।

lokāḥ samastāḥ sukhino bhavantu।

May all beings be happy.

सब लोक सुखी हों।

स्वस्ति प्रजाभ्यः परिपालयन्तां
न्याय्येन मार्गेण महीं महीशाः।

Transliteration:
svasti prajābhyaḥ paripālayantāṃ
nyāyyena mārgeṇa mahīṃ mahīśāḥ।
gobrāhmaṇebhyaḥ śubhamastu nityaṃ
lokāḥ samastāḥ sukhino bhavantu॥

English translation:
May there be auspiciousness to the people;
may the kings rule the earth along the right path; may the cows and brahmans (knower of Vedas) be fortunate; may all beings be happy.

Hindi Translation:
सभी लोगों का कल्याण हो, सभी राजा पृथ्वी का उचित मार्ग से पिरपालन करें,
गायों और ब्राह्मणों का कल्याण हो, और सब लोक सुखी हों।


 परोपकारार्थमिदं शरीरम्।

paropakārārthamidaṃ śarīram।

This human body is for the beneficence of others.

यह शरीर भी दूसरों के लिए  है।


 परोपकाराय फलन्ति वृक्षाः परोपकाराय वहन्ति नद्यः।
परोपकाराय दुहन्ति गावः परोपकारार्थमिदं शरीरम्॥

Transliteration:
paropakārāya phalanti vṛkṣāḥ paropakārāya vahanti nadyaḥ।
paropakārāya duhanti gāvaḥ paropakārārthamidaṃ śarīram॥

English translation:
The trees give fruits for the beneficence of others. The rivers flow for the beneficence of others.
The cows give milk for the beneficence of others. Similarly, this human body is also for the beneficence of others.

Hindi Translation:
वृक्ष दूसरों के लिए फल देते हैं। नदियाँ दूसरों के लिए बहती हैं।
गाएँ दूसरों के लिए दूध देती हैं। वैसे ही, यह शरीर भी दूसरों के लिए ही है।


 उद्योगो नरभूषणम्।

udyogo narabhūṣaṇam।
Being engaged with some work is glorious for a person.

सतत काम में रहना मनुष्य का आभूषण है।
 
Sanskrit quote on work

अश्वस्य भूषणं वेगो मत्तं स्याद्गजभूषणम्।
चातुर्यं भूषणं नार्याः उद्योगो नरभूषणम्॥

Transliteration:
aśvasya bhūṣaṇaṃ vego mattaṃ syādgajabhūṣaṇam।
cāturyaṃ bhūṣaṇaṃ nāryāḥ udyogo narabhūṣaṇam॥

English translation:
Speed is the ornament of the horse. The majestic walk is the glory of the elephant.
Being wise is an asset to a woman; and always being engaged in some work is glorious for a person.

Hindi Translation:
घोड़े का आभूषण वेग है; मत्त हाथी का आभूषण है; चातुर्य नारी का आभूषण है;
और सतत काम में रहना मनुष्य का आभूषण है।


 संहतिः कार्यसाधिका।

saṃhatiḥ kāryasādhikā।

The group is able to accomplish the work.

समूह कार्य सिद्ध कर सकता है।

अल्पानामपि वस्तूनां संहतिः कार्यसाधिका।
तृणैर्गुणत्वमापन्नैर्बध्यन्ते मत्तदन्तिनः॥

Transliteration:
alpānāmapi vastūnāṃ saṃhatiḥ kāryasādhikā।
tṛṇairguṇatvamāpannairbadhyante mattadantinaḥ॥

English translation:
The group of even small things is also able to accomplish the work.
Just like when numerous blades of grass come together, they can even tie a drunken elephant.

Hindi Translation:
छोटे छोटे चीज़ों का समूह भी कार्य सिद्ध कर सकता है।
जैसे घास के छोटे टुकड़े इकट्ठा करके मत्त हाथी भी बांधा जा सकता है।


 न निश्चितार्थात् विरमन्ति धीराः।

na niścitārthāt viramanti dhīrāḥ।

Courageous people do not stop until they reach their goals.

धैर्यशील व्यक्ति निश्चित किया हुआ काम पूरा होने तक नहीं रुकते।

 
Sanskrit quote on warrior

रत्नैर्महार्हैस्तुतुषुर्न देवाः न भेजिरे भीमविषेण भीतिम्।
सुधां विना न प्रययुर्विरामं न निश्चितार्थात् विरमन्ति धीराः॥

Transliteration:
ratnairmahārhaistutuṣurna devāḥ na bhejire bhīmaviṣeṇa bhītim।
sudhāṃ vinā na prayayurvirāmaṃ na niścitārthāt viramanti dhīrāḥ॥

English translation:
Gods did not get satisfied with precious stones, were not afraid by dangerous poison, did not stop until they attained the immortality nectar. Courageous people do not stop until they reach their goals.

Hindi Translation:
देव रत्नों से संतुष्ट नहीं हुए, भयानक विष से भी नहीं डरे, और अमृत मिलने तक नहीं रुके।
धैर्यशील व्यक्ति निश्चित किया हुआ काम पूरा होने तक नहीं रुकते।


 आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यम्।

ārogyaṃ paramaṃ bhāgyam।

Good health is the greatest fortune.

उत्तम आरोग्य परम भाग्य की बात है।


 व्यायामाल्लभते स्वास्थ्यं दीर्घायुष्यं बलं सुखम्।
आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं स्वास्थ्यं सर्वार्थसाधनम्॥

Transliteration:
vyāyāmāllabhate svāsthyaṃ dīrghāyuṣyaṃ balaṃ sukham।
ārogyaṃ paramaṃ bhāgyaṃ svāsthyaṃ sarvārthasādhanam॥

English translation:
One gets health, strength, long life and happiness by exercise.
Good health is the greatest fortune, and health is the means for everything.

Hindi Translation:
इंसान को स्वास्थ्य, दीर्घायुष्य, बल और आनन्द व्यायाम से मिलते हैं।
उत्तम आरोग्य परम भाग्य की बात है, और स्वास्थ्य सब कुछ पाने का साधन होता है।


 अहिंसा परमो धर्मः।

ahiṃsā paramo dharmaḥ।

Non-violence is the supreme Dharma.

अहिंसा सबसे बड़ा धर्म है।


 Original source Mahābhāratam – Anuśāsanaparva – Chapter 116 – Verse 25

अहिंसा परमो धर्मस्तथाहिंसा परं तपः।
अहिंसा परमं सत्यं ततो धर्मः प्रवर्तते॥

ahiṃsā paramo dharmastathāhiṃsā paraṃ tapaḥ।
ahiṃsā paramaṃ satyaṃ tato dharmaḥ pravartate॥

English translation:
Non-violence is the supreme Dharma, it is the ultimate penance, and it is the ultimate truth.

Hindi Translation:
अहिंसा सबसे बड़ा धर्म है। अहिंसा सबसे बड़ा तप है।
अहिंसा सबसे बड़ा सत्य है, उसी से धर्म के प्रवृत्ति होती है।

dvā suparṇā sayujā sakhāyā।

Two birds live together, and are friends of each other.

दो पंछी जो एक दूसरे के स्नेही हैं, एक साथ रहते हैं।

Transliteration:
dvā suparṇā sayujā sakhāyā samānaṃ vṛkṣaṃ pari ṣasvajāte।
tayoranyaḥ pippalaṃ svādvattyanaśnannanyo abhi cākaśīti॥

English translation:
Two birds, beautiful of wing, close companions, cling to one common tree:
of the two one eats the sweet fruit of the tree, the other eats not but watches his fellow.

Hindi Translation:
दो पंछी, जो सुन्दर पंख वाले हैं, एक दूसरे के स्नेही हैं, एक ही वृक्ष पर बैठते हैं।
उनमें से एक उस पेड़ के फल खाता है, तो दूसरा फल न खाते हुए सिर्फ़ बैठा हुआ अपने साथी को देखता है।


 सं गच्छध्वम्।

saṃ gacchadhvam।

एक साथ चलो।

Any arbitration award will include costs of the arbitration, reasonable attorneys fees, and reasonable costs for witnesses. You and the company may enter arbitration awards in any court with jurisdiction.

General Terms

If a provision of these terms is unenforceable as written, but could be changed to make it enforceable, that provision should be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. Otherwise, that provision should be removed.

You may not assign your agreement with the company.
