Transliteration:
sarvaśāstrapurāṇeṣu byāsasya vacanaṃ dhruvam।
paropakāraḥ puṇyāya pāpāya parapīḍanam॥
Hindi Translation:
सभी शास्त्रों और पुराणों मे, महंत व्यास के इस कथन को सत्य मानते हैं, दूसरों का भला करने से पुण्य प्राप्त होता है, और नुकसान पहुँचाने से पाप।
English translation:
Amidst all the scriptures and Puranas, know this statement of Vyasa to be true, that doing good to others conduces to merit, and harming others leads to sin.
